Water Rights Hearing Statements and Arguments
In order for SNWA to access much of the groundwater within their application, water rights must be acquired. A hearing with protestants and proponents of the water rights applications made by SNWA started on September 26th, and concluded on November 18th.

The Goshute case started on November 14th and ended on the 15th. The water rights hearing is now over (ended on 11/18/11). The Nevada State Engineer, Jason King is slated to make a decision by March, 2012.
On December 2, 2011 the comment period closed for the Water Rights Hearing. This is the closing argument and last document submitted to the Nevada State Engineer on behalf of the Tribes objections to the GWD project.
